Planning a day at Saratoga Race Course? Whether you're a seasoned track-goer or it's your first time visiting, parking can be one of the trickiest parts of race day. With thousands of fans descending on the Spa City during the summer meet, it's worth understanding your parking options ahead of time—especially now that the Race Course is a cashless venue.
Here’s everything you need to know about where to park, how much it costs, and the best way to beat the traffic on race day.

Quick Reminder: The Track Is Now Cashless
Cash is no longer accepted for parking, food, beverages, or admission at Saratoga Race Course. The only exception is the official Saratoga store.
If you only have cash, no worries—reverse ATMs are available on-site so you can load a prepaid card.
General Parking – Free Every Day
The General Parking area is located to the northeast of the Race Course, on the opposite side of Union Avenue from the track.
Depending on where you're able to find a spot within this area, you can expect a long walk to the track. The first entrance gate you'll come to is Gate A, which provides easy access to the Grandstand.

- Best For: Budget-conscious guests who don’t mind walking
Preferred Parking (Oklahoma Track Lots)
Want a spot a little closer to the action? NYRA offers three Preferred Parking areas around the Oklahoma Training Track: East, Madison, and Rec Hall.
- East Lot: Corner of Union & East Avenues – closest to the main entrance
- Madison Lot: Western end of Oklahoma Track
- Rec Hall Lot: Farthest of the three options

Trackside Parking – Closest to the Gates
For those who prefer convenience, Trackside Parking (Silver A/B lots) is located on the same side of Union Avenue as the track—just a short walk to Gate B, and also close to Gates A, C, and D.

1863 Club Parking & Valet
Attending races in style? The 1863 Club Lot is located off Nelson Avenue and provides both standard and valet parking, perfect for those with reserved seating in the club.

Lawn Parking Near the Track

Skip parking altogether with a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. NYRA has a designated Uber Zone located at the corner of Union Avenue and East Avenue—just steps from the track’s main entrance.
