Whitewater Kayaking Adventures
The fall begins another season in the northeast for whitewater kayakers. Hydroelectric power companies start draining some of the lakes around the region making room for spring run off. This gives whitewater kayakers a chance to test their skills on certain sections that only run with a fall release. Natural flowing rivers also begin to come up again, as trees begin to lose their leaves and go dormant for the winter, using less ground water, allowing it to stay in the river. Keep warm, stay safe, grab your dry top and get out on some whitewater for a rush of adrenaline that will last till spring.
