Annual Arts & Blues Fest Set For Sunday, June 7

SARATOGA SPRINGS – The annual Caroline Street Arts & Blues Fest (and chili cook-off) is back again and will take place on Sunday, June 7, Noon to 7 p.m.

Saratoga Springs, NY — Marianne Barker from Impressions of Saratoga and Lisa Shroeder of Clothes Horse worked together to raise funds to create a memorial for fellow business woman and friend, Sandy Frankel. They got together one cold winter day to brainstorm as to how they might create a lasting tribute to Sandy.

Marianne and her staff were in the beginnings of organizing their 5th Annual Pet Appreciation Celebration held in May. It seemed like a natural choice to raise money to fund an outdoor exercise area for the animals, as a memorial to Sandy’s love of animals and her work at the Shelter. The Saratoga County Animal Shelter is about to break ground to build a long overdue new [...]
