Saratoga Springs, NY– “The Final Stretch” Music Festival says farewell to the thoroughbreds on the last weekend of the racing season, Saturday and Sunday night, September 4 & 5, 2010. There are eight musical acts performing at sites along Broadway from Ellsworth Jones Place (by the City Center) to Eddie Bauer, then down at Ben & Jerry’s a the corner of Phila and Putnam, 7 – 11 p.m.

This past weekend hundreds of visitors and residents came into the village of North Creek for Race The Train, WayneStock, the Tri County Auxiliary Bazaar and Artists and Authors at the Hudson. Welcoming them were colorful new banners adorning the primary entrance to the village of North Creek.

The volunteer efforts were spearheaded by the marketing subcommittee of the Business Alliance. SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (August 12, 2010) – Saratoga Gaming and Raceway, previously open from 10 a.m. until 2 a.m. will now be offering two additional hours of operations, staying open until 4 a.m. beginning Friday, August 13.

“We are excited that beginning this Friday our property will be open an additional two hours, seven days a week,” states Executive Vice President and COO, Jamie Hartman. “Patrons will be able to enjoy gaming entertainment from 10 a.m. until 4 a.m.”

The Saratoga Theatre Club will present “Aint Got No” at the Great Room Theatre in Gansevoort on Aug. 20, 21, and 22nd. It is a collection of entirely original works by local artists that include one and three-act plays, two readings, songs and comedy skits.

The theme of unfulfillment is explored using mild adult humor and situations.

Production times are Friday August 20, 2010 and Saturday August 21, 2010 at 8pm, and Sunday August 22, 2010 at 4pm. Admission is $5.00.

The Great Room Theatre, owned by James Pentaudi, is located at 13 Leonard Street in Gansevoort, eight miles north of Wilton Mall in Saratoga.

This renovated 1838 historic church was featured in “Spirit of Saratoga” magazine’s April 2009 issue.
