West Sand Lake Woman Hits $80K Jackpot at Saratoga Casino and Raceway
SARATOGA SPRINGS, New York (August 22, 2011) – Yvonne Miller of West Sand Lake, NY won $81,278.65 at Saratoga Casino and Raceway on Saturday.

Miller was playing on Bally’s $1 Stars and Bars when the lights and sounds went off alerting staff that a big jackpot had been hit.

“I was in shock,” she said. She has been a Gold member of the Player Extras Club since 2004. “I’ve won some little jackpots here and there but never anything this big.” When asked on Monday what she plans to do with her winnings, Miller still hadn’t come up with a final plan. “The money is in the bank for now,” she said.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY — August 16, 2011 — If traffic to an online city guide is any indicator of the popularity of that destination, Saratoga.com’s numbers of late are reinforcing what we already know: Saratoga Springs is a popular destination.

Statistics analysts at Saratoga.com had to take a second look when the numbers came in at the end of July. With the racing season barely underway, 958,000 visits to the site had been recorded, which was an astounding 45% increase over the previous month.
