The 171st Saratoga County Fair needs entries for Children’s Collections. The collections must consist of at least 10 pieces, no more than 30 pieces and the age categories are 3-5 years old, 6-10 years old and 12-15 years old. Past collections have included match box cars, Barbie dolls, marbles and buttons to name a few. Every entry will receive a ribbon and prized will be given for first, second and third place.
Sue Leahey, Kim Leahey & Joan Joyner, Education Superintendents, believe that the young citizens of Saratoga County are an important part of the community and should have the opportunity to share their collections with the many thousands of people attending the fair.
Set up date for the education exhibits is Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Saratoga Fair Grounds under the Grandstand. Entries will be accepted on this day only.
