East Line Books

East Line Books has over 10,000 new, used, and out of print books at affordable prices. Genres include literary and popular fiction, suspense, U.S. and world history, politics, journalism, social issues, science, philosophy, contemporary and vintage mystery, classics, religion, poetry, biography and memoir, cookbooks, how to write and publish, travel, sports, pets, science fiction and fantasy, parenting, education, drama, art and photography, inspiration, and others. East Line Books also stocks an extensive collection of books for children and young adults.

At East Line Books, we want you to feel at home. Our cozy, comfortable bookshop is the perfect place to drop in, browse for a treasure, lounge in an easy chair with a complimentary cup of coffee or tea and read a book. Our store is WIFI equipped allowing you to use our classroom (when not in use) to write or search the net on your laptop.

We host a monthly book club (open to everyone!) and offer some of the best creative writing classes in the area for adults, teens and children. During the school year we offer creative writing classes for homeschoolers and another highlight—our six week personal essay and memoir class for adults. Tutoring is available by appointment for SAT writing prep, college application essays and for anyone looking to improve their writing.

East Line Books also sponsors community events like author signings, speakers, open MIC nights for local writing groups and sometimes even comedy shows by our local Improv Club.

East Line Books is a delightful bookstore with an excellent selection of books. You'll find books that you've been meaning to read. Buy required reading for your children so that they can make notes for school. This is a store to spend time in browsing, enjoying being surrounded by books, sitting in a comfy chair, or chatting with the owner and staff.

Great used book store with a very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and cozy and hard to leave! My husband and I miss having this store to visit when we leave for Florida. And many thanks for the free coffee! :)
