My fiancee and I had the opportunity to stay at the Friends Lake Inn this past December, and if I could sum up our trip here in one word, it would be "WOW!" From the moment we arrived, we were pampered. I've never stayed anywhere before where I felt so important, and had such wonderful service. Every staff member that we crossed paths with took care of us in such a nice way.

If you think the price tag for the night is a little steep, remember that your meals are included, both dinner for two in the evening, and breakfast in the morning, and they don't spare expenses when it comes to feeding you. The food was absolutely delicious, and of a high quality.

We stayed in the Great Room during our stay, and it was very nice. The room was huge! There was a stone fireplace that set a nice romantic mood. The bathroom also had a jacuzzi tub and steam shower. There was also a private entrance with a porch that I'm sure if we had stayed there during the summer months we would have enjoyed. No TV in the room, which was great for setting a nice mood.

My fiancee and I were so impressed with everything at Friends Lake that we decided to book our "Mini-Moon" there after our wedding this fall, and we're looking forward to getting back there. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a romantic getaway for the weekend. 5 Stars Plus!!!

Wow is all I can say about this Inn! We had the opportunity to stay here a couple years ago and it's one of our favorite memories! The rooms were amazing and the food was top notch. If there's any other Inn like it in our area I'm certainly not aware of it.
