I am equally impressed with the incredible quality and taste of the meat (like nothing you've ever had before!) as with Karen and Kevin's commitment to best practices and sustainability. You can truly feel good about what you're eating and the business behind it that you are supporting.

As a a strong supporter of supporting local agriculture, Mac Brook's tasty and delicious grass fed beef points to why: it's hard to eat anything else, once you've tasted the best! Their hamburger patties, that I grill whenever possible, are best cooked rare without worries that you're risking your health -- one cow, one farm, one butcher, and all local. Their ground beef makes tasty meatballs and sloppy joe's, too. Big fan of their steaks and recently enjoyed their spare ribs. Visit the farm and their farm store, or find their delicious offerings at Four Seasons on Phila Street. Thanks Farmer Kevin and Karen!

I was turned on to Mack Brook Farm by a friend and I LOVE their hamburger meat!! It is so flavorful, I never knew meat could be so tasty all by itself. You can taste nature. I also love that it's so lean---no guilt and no heavy stomach afterwards. It's a relief not to worry about any diseases or problems in manufacturing because it's all local. Getting to know Karen & Kevin has been an added bonus---and education.
