One Caroline Street Bistro

A couple of weeks ago, 3 friends went to visit another best friend, who had just moved to Saratoga, . At the last minute we decided to go out for drinks and dinner. We arrived at 1 Caroline just before 10 pm, after leaving another nearby establishment that was overcrowded and too loud. We were pleasantly seated and greeted by the son of the owners. The menu was fixed with 5 fabulous option, one being vegetarian, but nothing vegan. We had 2 carnivores, 1 vegetarian and 1 vegan, (myself), in our party. I asked the waiter what could be done vegan. The chef came out to talk to me and was so fabulous! He asked me what I liked and didn't like and what he might create specially for me! He made a delicious rice and vegetable entree, a vegan bruschetta and a dish of fresh fruit with Grand Marnier reduction sauce! I licked the plate it was so flippin fabulous! The service and food for all was beyond spectacular. We will definitely being going back the next time we all visit.
