This park is a must see spot for all history buffs! The Battle of Saratoga is considered one of the 15 decisive battles in the history of the world, and it happened just a short drive away from Saratoga Springs! The park has perks for more than just history lovers. The wide roads make perfect bike paths in the summer, the hills make perfect spots for sledding in the winter, and the scenery makes the park beautiful year round.

Saratoga National Historic Park is dog friendly. There is a section of the park where dogs are allowed to roam without leashes. Throughout the rest of the park a 6 foot leash is required.
