Internationally renowned artists and scholars will be in residence at Skidmore College this summer doing what they do best-teaching, creating and performing.
Skidmore also offers a variety of programs for children during the summer months. Camp Northwoods is Skidmore’s day camp for children entering grades 1-6, and children of all ages can register for a wide array of Sports Camps that include baseball, lacrosse, swimming, basketball, tennis, soccer, volleyball and field hockey.

"Elevator Music: Doug Van Nort: Constellate"
Sound artist and experimental musician Doug Van Nort's work explores the radical sculpting of sonic environments, noise, immersion and the embodied nature of listening. "Constellate" turns the Tang elevator into a resonant sound-producing body for which Van Nort has created an original composition.
