Village Sweet Shoppe in Ballston Spa is the old time candy store you used to know and love. You will find nostalgic candies like RootBeer Barrels to Pop Rocks right next to the wall of Scoop-Your-Own. Don't forget CHOCOLATE...homemade!
At the Village Sweet Shoppe, you can have a birthday party if you are turning 10 or 100. We offer outside catering for Chocolate Fountains and Candy Buffets...it doesn't stop there. We will make customized favors for any event. Baby showers, weddings, retirements, and so on. Stop by and become a kid again!
Every month, Ballston Spa celebrates with "First Fridays" where locals and out-of-towners can come stroll along the sidewalk and enjoy the local sites, eateries and activities. Stop by April 6th for a free "dip" in our chocolate fountain! While you are here, grab a bag of Scoop-Your-Own candy or a Stewar's Classic Soda to enjoy while you stroll through town.
We will be adding ice cream to the shop soon! Haven't seen Creamsicles or Bombpops in awhile? Come by and grab one here. Enjoy while you catch the free movie on First Fridays here in Ballston Spa.
