Learning to be Healthy

I'm sitting waiting for a plane in Atlanta people watching.  As I watch people walk by with their burger and fries, diet sodas, candies, cookies, ice cream, etc.. I wonder about what they think about health.

As they sit in the smoking area and smoke one after another to get them all in before they get their plane, obviously overweight and out of shape I wonder if they feel like they are healthy.  As I ponder their health maybe more than they do I over hear two people sitting across from me discussing their ailments.  They are mid 50's and they are comparing medications and surgeries they have had, one worse than the other - trying to outdo each other.  I wonder when we learned how to be healthy.  Who taught us to eat well, move well, and think well?  That's the purpose of this blog.  This blog has been created to have discussions about how to live a healthy lifestyle.  I welcome all comments and questions and hope, through this blog I can make a difference in your health and your lives.
