Technology

The other day I got my new phone in the mail.  This thing is amazing!  It emails, texts, gets on the web, takes pictures, etc.  Now most of you may have one of these marvels of technology, but have you ever thought how it changes our lives?
Technology can be anything that improves how something is done currently.  For instance, new techniques in teaching a child would be an advancement in technology for education.  We always seem to only think of technology in terms of electronics these days (my phone).  Also when the technology has been around for some time, we take it for granted.  So on that note I wanted to share with you the technology available to measure body function.  With advancements in computers we now can measure nervous system function without needles, drugs, or surgeries.  Computer technology allows us to measure this at a spinal level to evaluate overall body function.  Then, after treatment is given, these tests can re-evaluate nerve function and monitor progress.  What did we do before this?  Older technology that was less effective and more tedious.  Just another example of how technology can improve your life.  To see this technology in action visit our website, www.aacfamilywellness.com
