Current statistics show that more than 50 million people in the United States suffer from acid reflux disease. What is acid reflux? Basically, acid reflux (or GERD ) is when hydrochloric acid backs up into your esophagus and causes burning pain, and even damage to the delicate tissue lining the windpipe. The most common signs and symptoms of this disorder are: nausea, belching, constant bloating, chest pain, difficulty swallowing, and occasional regurgitation of food.

Dr. Michael M Quartararo grew up in Rotterdam and spent many summers in Saratoga Springs having family picnics in the state park. He graduated Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa , the first and largest chiropractic college in the world. While in college, he received specialized training in pediatrics and family wellness care. He has been certified in Erhardt X-Ray training, EMG studies & performance, and animal chiropractic. Recently he has undergone extensive training to become certified as a chiropractic wellness practitioner. Dr. Quartararo is a member of the New York Chiropractic Council, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, International Chiropractic Association, and the World Chiropractic Alliance..
