Easter Seals New York presents: Wins For Kids 

The Second Annual Wins For Kids :: August 20, 2011

Saratoga Springs NY -- Easter Seals New York will hold their 2nd Annual Wins for Kids on Saturday, August 20th, 2011 from 12:30 to 5:00 pm, offering an afternoon of live horse racing, cocktails, and gourmet food stations at Saratoga Race Track.

All proceeds from Wins for Kids  will support Easter Seals New York’s Camp Colonie. Camp Colonie, located in the Capital Region, is a New York State Education Department approved summer school and day camp for children with disabilities, special needs and their typically developing peers.

Campers are involved in fun and educational activities that meet their summer school IEP (Individualized Education Plans) and provide feedback to participating school districts about the campers' progress. The camp is set in an outdoor environment where school is incorporated with recreational activities to ensure the academic and social success of each individual.

Easter Seals New York provides exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities. In 2010, Easter Seals New York provided services to over 12,000 children and adults living with special needs throughout the state.

Time: 12:00 pm - 5:30 pm (First race starts at 1:00 pm)

Cost: $130 -$150, $100 for youth

Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are still available! General ticket prices are $130 per person (age 21 and over), or $100 for a youth ticket (under 21) and $150 for a VIP ticket, which includes a VIP gift bag. Price of ticket includes gourmet buffet, beer, wine, and live horse racing action.
