8th Annual Dog Days

This years Pet Appreciation Celebration will be the largest Downtown Saratoga Dog Event! On April 28th, the 8th Annual Dog Days will have  Photos, Local Treat Giveaways, Pet Patio, Saratoga Animal Shelter & Rescue Groups, Wildlife Info and more! It is sure to be an event that everyone will enjoy. 
 
Holding this special, weeklong celebration to help recognize the National Humane Society’s “Be Kind to Animals Week” and the American Veterinary Association’s “National Pet Week”. As always we have fresh water and treats for our 4 legged friends. Events will include the following:
 
Pet Week Coloring Contest with Prizes for 4 age groups.
 
Pet Food & Supply Drive for the Saratoga County Animal Shelter - Receive Bailey Barker's Bucks for donations of pet food &  new or gently used toys, towels, leashes, and collars.
 
Count the Biscuits Contest - Closest guess wins a $25 Gift Certificate and 2nd closest guess wins all the biscuits!
  
Dog Treat Tasting at Dawgdom and Impressions 
Sample Treats from Lazy Bones, Wagatha's, The Bread Basket and more 
 
H.O.P.E. Spring Walk for the Animals
From Congress Park along Broadway, up to Skidmore and then Back
Broadway Window Scavenger Hunt with Treats and Prizes
registration begins at 10am and Walk starts at 11am 
 
Pet Photos By Photographer - Tracey Buyce - at Impressions
Take advantage of this opportunity to have your pet immortalized in a photo by this incredibly talented artist/photographer. Proceeds will be donated to  
The Saratoga County Animal Shelter  
 
Lunch & Libations on Gaffney's Patio for you and your 4 legged friends!
Special lunch menu for your pup including Chihuahua Stew and The Chuckwagon
 
Safe Pet Partnership Program at Impressions
A program run by the Saratoga Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Center that helps place pets in foster care when people who are victims of domestic violence are unable to leave the abusive situation for fear that their pets will be abused
