5 for fiVe, Race for a Cure

5 for fiVe is a 5k memorial run for Louis Butts, V ("LB"). LB was diagnosed with MPS-I at 8 months old. Shortly after his first birthday, LB lost his battle against MPS. This run is coordinated by his parents in an effort to raise awareness and fund research. All proceeds will go to the National MPS Society, a non-profit organization aimed at helping families and finding a cure. If you cant make it, please still consider making a donation. No amount is too small.

Race begins at the Warming Hut in scenic Saratoga Springs State Park and continues through the trails and park paths with mile markers and water stations. Don't want to run? That's okay, walkers are welcome.

Enjoy food, refreshments, entertainment, and a chance to win raffle prizes after the race. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each division. This event promises to be fun for the whole family.
