Saratoga County Fair: July 17 - 22, 2012

SARATOGA SPRINGS -- Head to the 171st annual Saratoga County Fair this summer to experience a classic, all-American county fair! Saratoga County's is one of the oldest in the state and is held annually at the Saratoga County Fair Grounds in Ballston Spa, NY!

The fair is held for six days and nights this year from July 17 - 22, 2012 from 9 am to midnight daily. The Saratoga County Fair offers a wide variety of entertainment, over 100 vendors, and many exhibits including antiques, home arts, fine arts, flowers, farm and garden, 4-H, and more!

The fair grounds spread over 30 acres and they prepare for approximately 100,000 people each year.

Cost: General Admission: $8 (Tues-Thur), $10 (Fri-Sun), Senior Citizens $4 until 5pm & under 52'' or Active Military are free. Unliimted wristbands are $20.

Everyone will find fun with an animal area featuring large and small animals for the children to see, and a beer tent for the adults (over 21, of course).

The fair also brings a wide variety of amusement carnival rides for all ages, a family pavilion, talent competitions, beauty pagents, grandstand shows and more to come (check back for a complete schedule of the 2012 fair events).

Admission to the fair is $8 for general admission from Tuesday - Thursday, and $10 for general admission Friday - Sunday. $4 for senior citizens over 65 until 5 pm, and children under 52" are free.
