''Warm the Community'' Event at Glens Falls National Fort Ann Office

The Fort Ann Office of Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company will host a Community Appreciation Day on Monday, December 17, to benefit local causes.

The "Warm the Community"-themed event will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 110 George Street. There will be hot chocolate and snacks, chili, and a raffle for a 100-gallon fuel oil gift certificate donated in part by CV Fuel Services.

Proceeds from the raffle will go toward the Fort Ann Rescue Squad's purchase of new defibrillators. The public is also encouraged to bring new or gently used coats, hats and scarves to benefit Fort Ann Central School students and families in need.

The Fort Ann Office is among many Glens Falls National locations hosting Community Appreciation Days this year. The events are meant to show the Bank's appreciation for its neighbors, while assisting local causes. For more information about the event, call the branch at 639-5591.
