The Monkey must be very careful with their health this month ~ do not expose yourself to viruses.  You will also be more vulnerable to accidents.   Keep Peacock Feathers in your car to protect you against accidents.  You will be surrounded by needy people this month ~ try not to get dragged down with their problems ~ you can be sympathetic but be cautious.~ you can only do so much.  Wealth luck is not good so be careful with your finances.

Danger for the Rooster ~ you could be robbed or cheated this month.  Watch out for superficial friends.  Be careful what you share with people as it could be used against you in a disastrous way.  As bad as your Money and Career luck is ~ your Romance luck is just the opposite.  You will have lots of romantic attention but avoid a one-night stand as there is potential physical danger.

Good Luck returns ~ a great month for the Dog.  You are Lucky in both Money and Love.   Business decisions you make will be successful as will any financial investments you make.  Wear an amethyst bracelet to improve relationships with others.  Alert ~ watch your health and guard against food poisoning.

Another great month for the Boar ~ you are lucky in both Money and Love.  Your social life heats up ~ Be Sociable!  Get out and meet people!  If you have any unfinished bad business with anyone ~ let it go.  Avoid wearing Red this month ~ it could weaken your good luck.

This is a good month for the Dragon to reconnect with those whom they have not recently been in contact with.  This is a month to build relationships ~ make the effort to catch up.  Place an Amethyst Geode in the Southwest corner of your living room to enhance relationship luck.  Caution however ~  there is danger of unwanted attention from the opposite sex.  Students will do well this month.

Love Luck continues to be good for the Snake ~ easily attracting members of the opposite sex.  If you're looking for love ~ use your sense of humor ~ You can have your pick.  Career luck is also good.  Friends are there when you need them.  However be careful of poor health this month.

Good Luck also continues for the Horse ~ opportunities abound ~ especially in relationships ~ including romance.   If  single you might get lucky this month ~ put a Rabbit in the East corner of your bedroom to boost Romance Luck.  Troublemakers will try to upset things ~ so friends and relatives will be very important this month.

Illness visits the Sheep this month ~ with a risk of Infection and Sickness.   This month the Southwest poses a danger to your health ~ make sure that you keep things very quiet in that area.  The elderly and infirm should not sleep in the Southwest this month if at all possible.  Watch your diet and make time for exercise ~ but be careful as accidents are possible.  Wealth and Career Luck are positive.

On November 7, 2009 we will enter the 10th month of the Chinese Lunar Calendar. This is the year of the Earth Ox and is considered a well-balanced year.  The Chinese believe that it is always better to prevent bad luck from occurring than to try to reverse it ~ so it's helpful to know what to expect.

The Rat should avoid gambling or playing the stock market as Wealth Luck is only So So.  At work you will reap what you sow and nothing more ~ Be Competitive.  Love Luck is just average so this is not a good month for a new relationship.  This month shows risks for accidents ~ be careful while driving and forget dangerous sports

It's a great month for the Ox ~ There is Money and Success Luck this month ~ but the Ox will have to work for it ~ Focus on your Work ~ Do not miss deadlines.  There is a possible promotion at work ~ This month it's all about Hard Work.  Spend time with your family ~ but accept loved ones for who they are.  Single Ox should turn on the charm if they are looking for romance.

The Tiger is also in for a Great Month.   You enjoy it all ~ Wealth ~ Career ~ Romance.  But ~ You must make it happen ~ No other tactics but hard work   Throw parties ~ invite friends to your home.  The energy this month is very good ~ do not let it get away!  Wear Blues and Blacks to harness the good energies of this month.

There may be Money Problems for the Rabbit.  Keep an eye on your Finances ~ careful with joint checking accounts. You need to protect yourself from people who do not have you best interests at heart.  Watch your temper ~ there will be Quarrelsome energies all around you ~ you must seize control.  You should wear a 18K Gold Apple to control these argumentative tendencies.  It's best to lay low before starting anything new.

One of the superstitions regarding Halloween is that it's believed that the veil between the spirit world and that of mere mortals is so thin ~ that ghosts and spirits can walk among us and on this evening we can actually see them.  For this reason, many people leave food outside their houses in the hopes that it will please the spirits of their loved ones who have passed on ~ this may be one of the theories behind Halloween treats.
    
Some traditions also say that we should bury apples in the garden to nourish the souls of any loved ones who have passed over within the last year.
    
One of the favorites I've heard is to stand in front of a mirror anytime after sunset and make a secret wish.  While staring into the mirror, actually try to 'see' the fulfillment of your wish as you silently whisper what it is to the spirits around you. Your wish should come true in some fashion before this same time next year.  

Finally ~ eat an apple ~  legends has it that eating an apple after midnight on All Hallow's Eve will bring  bushels of fortune and good luck in the year to come.   
    

I'm a little late on this post ~ It would have been fitting if I'd written this before the Adirondack Balloon Festival ~ but it's still helpful information.
The Chinese believe that there's a great Dragon in the Sky that will help you to realize your dreams. 
But first you must send those wishes out in a specific way.  Take a Red, Yellow, White, Pink or Lavender colored helium-filled balloon and tie it with 9, 18 or 27 inches of Red Ribbon.  Write your wish on the balloon with a New black felt-tip pen that you buy especially for this occasion. Only one wish per balloon.  Be specific and concise when you write out your wish.  Then on a slightly windy day when the sun is not too bright, release the balloon into the sky ~ continue to watch it as it flies higher until it slowly vanishes from sight.  As the balloon disappears ~ visualize your wishes being fulfilled.  Then, after you can no longer see your balloon on the horizon, know that the Sky Dragon has swallowed it and will now begin to actualize this wish for you. Of course, feel free to release as many balloons as you WISH ~ just one wish per balloon.  

The Monkey must be more tolerant this month.  You will feel negative ~ but you must not give into those feelings.  Friendships will be tested this month. Your investment luck is low so be very careful with your money.  Along with those negative feelings you're having ~ your love live will be vulnerable.  Try not to argue over trivial issues.

A great month for the Rooster. Good Luck comes from all directions ~ bringing Happiness that lasts.  You need to be out in the world to make sure that you don't miss any opportunities. To get a promotion in your career you must be proactive.  You will reap what you sow.

A Dangerous month for the Dog ~ a Chance of being Robbed or Cheated.  You  could  suffer some sort of financial loss ~ Do not take risks.   If your bedroom is in the Northwest of your home ~ Move out ~ Sleep in another room.  Be very careful that you do not break the law ~ even innocent, you could become a scapegoat.  Your love life is complex ~ avoid a love triangle.

The Boar needs to be careful this month to avoid being mugged or having their purse snatched.  There is a real possibility of losing money or being cheated.  Be careful whom you trust this month.  Love luck is average ~ you could be tempted by an office romance.  Mixing work and pleasure could be a disaster.

Misfortune is back.  The Dragon must be cautious ~ Lie Low and Wait till next month to start your projects up again.  Be careful that you don't get sick  Young Dragons will tend to feel insecure ~ wear a Jade Dragon pendant to boost your Luck. Spend your time building friendships.

As if things could not look worse ~ Money Luck is also poor.  The elderly or frail rats must take care and it  is very important that they not sleep or spend time in the North area of their home or office.  In love you could be disappointed or worse ~Broken-hearted.

Just a Mediocre Month for the Ox.  Although you have many resources this month to accomplish what you want ~ there is danger from people who are jealous or envious; or who feel that you wronged them in the past and they are out for justice or revenge.  This month ~ Neutralize your Karma by doing Good Deeds and Charitable Works.  Just  keep a low profile.  Success, Wealth, and Power can be yours ~ but celebrate quietly.

The Tiger also is in danger  from those who are jealous. When things go well ~ celebrate quietly or the celebration will be over quickly. Do not attract attention ~ quietly study and improve your job skills and you may receive a promotion.  It's not a bad month ~ but it's sad that you have to keep your joy a secret ~ for now.

A great month for the Monkey - finally things run smoothly. Money luck is good so it's time to go ahead with those investments you've been thinking about. This is also the month to network ~ build a group of friends and colleagues whom you can count on in the future.  People will listen to you now.  Accept all invitations and don't get careless about your appearance ~ you never know.

The Rooster is feeling restless this month. You won't  be able to sustain the excitement of last month. Start an exercise program to work off that excess energy and accept all social invitations. Your mind is racing and it will be difficult to sleep.  Your good fortune is improving but not if you spread yourself too thin.  You feel scattered this month ~ Focus.

Another exciting month for the Dog ~ especially when it comes to money. Be open to all opportunities, but follow your instincts. If you go with your gut you won't be wrong. There is the possibility of making Big Money.  In life there is always Yin, and its opposite, Yang - so you need to be careful when it comes to your Health - you may feel tired and apathetic ~ Resist.
