Small Business Saturday - November 26, 2016
The weekend after Thanksgiving is the biggest shopping weekend of the holiday season! Small Business Saturday was first introduced in 2010 to help keep those dollars local.
Now in its sixth year, Small Business Saturday is getting more attention than ever. Strategically positioned between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it occurs on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This year, it falls on November 28.
Not a fan of Black Friday? Small Business Saturday is the perfect alternative. Many small businesses will be offering discounts and deals throughout the day. The usual rowdy crowds that tend to play out at national chains on Black Friday aren't typical of the local shop small experience.
This is an event everyone can feel good about participating in. It's a great way to support small businesses in your community and find unique gifts for everyone on your list, all while enjoying the best in personalized customer service. When everyone makes a small effort, together we can make a big impact.
The Saratoga Craft Marketplace is a big part of Small Business Saturday. Over 115 unique crafters will exhibit their handmade prodcuts at the Saratoga City Center from 10am to 4:30pm. All proceeds go to support the mission of the Saratoga Center for the Family to prevent and treat child abuse and neglect. There will also be a silent auction, raffles, and more.
Impressions of Saratoga is giving out double points to all their loyalty members on Small Business Saturday! For every 250 points you earn you get a $25 gift card!
