Rock on in Ballston Spa!

BALLSTON SPA NY - Once you have counted all the uniquely decorated horses found throughout Saratoga Springs, swing on over to Ballston Spa for 'Ballston Rocks' and count nearly 100 locally decorated Adirondack rocking chairs.

Local businesses, individuals, families and organizations sponsored the Adirondack rocking chairs. Each chair is numbered with the name of the donor and artist.

All of the Adirondack rocking chairs can be found throughout the village from Memorial Day weekend to the end of summer. A competition will be held this Memorial Day weekend to judge the rocking chairs.

Once Labor Day is over, sponsors can retain their decorated chair or donate their rocker for an auction held by the Ballston Spa Business and Professional Association (BSBPA). Proceeds would help support Adopt A Plot, The Ballston Spa Film Festival, Concerts in the Park and other local activities.

'Ballston Rocks' was created by The Ballston Spa Business and Professional Association to promote the vibrant and friendly atmosphere of the village. Contact the BSBPA for a chair map or more information.
