What can Reiki do? Reiki is a gentle, non-intrusive stress reduction technique and holistic health care method that easily compliments traditional medicine. Reiki is performed by a certified practitioner who places their hands on your (fully clothed) body. The energy passes through the practitioners hands to the person. Usually this is performed on a massage table.
As with any holistic healing method, it is the person who will determine how the Reiki energy is to be used to best benefit them. Reiki can accelerate the healing process, help with pain management, balance subtle energy flows in your body. Reiki is simple and easy to do. Most Reiki sessions last about an hour.
