Limoncello Reopens In Downtown Saratoga

Limoncello Reopens New Location July 2008

After closing down their Broadway venue in September 2007, Limoncello Ristorante has now opened a new location in Saratoga Springs.

The new Limoncello is located on the corner of South Broadway and Ballston Avenue, where the old KFC used to be (and later the Haweli Indian Restaurant). The new location is newly renovated and much larger than the previous venue with a 1500-square-foot al fresco dining patio overlooking an Italian garden.

So what's on the menu? Italian, of course! Co-owner Giancarlo Balestra is native to Rome, Italy and contributes many family recipes to the menu selection. The new menu will mimic the old one, with a few new additions Balestra picked up from his latest trip to Italy.

Wine will also be a big draw for Limoncello's. The new site features a large wine cellar, and the Balestras have added a wide variety of fine Italian wines to the menu. Look for wine tastings in the future!

Limoncello Ristorante serves lunch and dinner daily, opening at 11:30 am. Food is available for dine-in or take-out. Gift certificates from the old location will be honored at the new one. There is off-street parking available.
