Even More Roundabouts For Malta
MALTA NY - More roundabouts? Malta has already welcomed 6 roundabouts to help with traffic congestion over the past few years. Now, two more are on the list.
As the Luther Forest Technology Park and surrounding businesses continue to grow, the area's traffic may prove to be a rising problem. To promote a smooth traffic flow, the Town of Malta has approved plans for two new roundabouts along Dunning Street, one at Fox Wander West and the other at Plains Road. These will be smaller than the other six Malta circles as they will consist only of a single lane.
Construction is planned to start in late June, and the roundabouts are expected to be completed before winter this year.
