For Saratoga Hospital


SARATOGA SPRINGS NY -- Saratoga Hospital will be getting a new $30 million emergency room. The new department will be two floors and 33,000 square foot.

The new emergency room will allow over 50,000 patient visits a year - more than double the number it allows right now. Currently, it is only equipped to handle 18,000 visits per year.

The new development of the emergency room broke ground April 30, 2008.
