News > Saratoga Turkey Trot2009 Turkey Trot On Thanksgiving Morning In Saratoga Springs NYSARATOGA SPRINGS NY — The 8th Annual Saratoga Turkey Trot will begin at 8:30am in front of City Hall on Thursday, November 26, 2009. Each year, on Thanksgiving morning, thousands of runners (and walkers) congregate in Saratoga Springs NY to race in the annual 5K Turkey Trot race, which benefits the Christopher Dailey Foundation. Runners interested in participating in the Saratoga Turkey Trot can register online at areep.com through November 25 at 1pm, or in person at the Saratoga Hilton from 4-8pm. Runners can also register by mail, sending payment to the Christopher Dailey Foundation by November 15. Entry fees are nonrefundable, and all runners who register before November 15 will receive a free Turkey Trot T-shirt. Community members who would like to contribute without racing on Thanksgiving morning can donate online here. Registration fees: Medals are awarded to the top 3 males / females in each age group: 0-11, 12-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and over. The overall top 3 males / females also receive a gift basket award. The Turkey Trot course starts on Broadway in Downtown Saratoga Springs, then continues into Skidmore and finishes on North Broadway. See course map below:
