Like food? Good, me too. So get out this Thursday for a meal on the town while supporting the Aids Council. That's right, this Thursday, April 26th marks the 9th annual Dining Out For Life event. This one-day celebration is hosted at over 65 restaurants in the region, donating 25% of their sales for breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails to help the AIDS Council, providing services to people living with HIV/AIDS in our community.
So whether you're in Albany, Clifton Park, Colonie, East Greenbush, Glens Falls, Hudson, Latham, Plattsburgh, Saratoga, Schnectady, Scotia, Slingerlands, Troy or Wilton, there are participating restaurants in your town! Come out and support a GREAT cause while enjoying a delicious meal at a local restaurant.
Too busy this week to dine out? That's okay, you can still participate! $25 contributions are accepted online and in turn you will receive a 20% Off Tuesdays card, good for a 20% off discount at participating restaurants. How's that for giving back?

I'm not one to be negative as I'm sure you're all aware of by now, but there's just some places I avoid at this point. After living in the area for over 18 years, I've been around the block a few times (to all the area restaurants of course) and it's become common for me to say no let's go somewhere else when approaching Bailey's. For that, I am sorry, because this last time I tried it I wasn't upset or dissatisfied. In fact, I was surprised and full of glee.
Ah restaurant week, a joyous time when restaurants participate in a deal
which offers 3 courses for $20.12. Of course, the restaurant owners and
chefs choose their menu for this event and generally the restaurants
have a wonderful array of options for their patrons.
