Much of eastern New York remains in abnormally dry drought conditions, with prime wildfire weather likely to continue. In a month that typically has several inches of rain (and even snow), we have only managed 0.13″ in Albany and 0.06″ in Glens Falls.
High pressure will return to the region by late Thursday and into the beginning of the weekend with dry and sunny conditions and a gradual moderating trend developing.
