Turning warmer into the Mother's Day weekend

High pressure will build into the region on Saturday, setting the stage for a warm and sunny start to our Mother's Day weekend. Temperatures will soar into the 70's under mostly sunny skies, but it will still be a bit breezy at times.

For Mother's Day, a weak cold front will approach from the north, so expect an increase in clouds and only a slight chance of a shower, so certainly not a wash out for Mom. It does look to turn a bit unsettled into next week though as the front stalls out and lingers nearby, keeping the chance of showers in the forecast.
