Mary C. Brundage

Saratoga Springs – Saratoga Springs - Mary C. Brundage, 82, died Saturday evening, July 28, 2007, at Mary’s Haven, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on Feb. 9, 1925, in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late Ignazio “Frank” Sansiveri of Naso, Italy, and Vincenza “Jennie” Scudder Sansiveri of Fracavilla, Italy. Mary was a life long area resident as well as a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School. She was married for over 60 wonderful years to the late John G. “Jack” Brundage, who passed away on Oct. 4, 2005. Mary worked for many years as a tax preparer in Saratoga Springs. She loved to garden but her real passion was when she cooked for her family at all of the Brundage family gatherings. Mary loved to travel with her late husband and their grandchildren. She was also a communicant of St. Clement’s Church.

Survivors include one son, Patrick Brundage and his wife Mary of Saratoga Springs; one daughter, Patricia Clute and her husband Gary of Ballston Spa; two brothers, Anthony Sansiveri and his wife Rose of Saratoga Springs, Jerry Sansiveri and his wife Roberta of Providence, R.I.; three sisters, Bernadine Clark and her husband Clement of Saratoga Springs, Margaret Smith of North Smithfield, R.I., Carmel Ann Lariviere and her husband Raymond of Westfield, Mass.; two grandchildren, Christopher Brundage and his wife Christine of Falls Church, Va., Bethany Vena and her husband James of Niskayuna; one great grandson, Shawn Riley Vena and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373).
