Greenwich – Clarence B. “Pat” Lauder, 89, passed away Monday, July 21, 2008 at his North Greenwich Road home.
Born May 7, 1919 in Greenwich, he was the son of the late Thomas and Vera Booth Lauder.
Pat had been a dairy farmer in Greenwich for many years and was a former member of the Farm Bureau. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Greenwich.
He was a person who was always watching out for others, enjoyed his garden and yard.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Janet Webb Lauder who died in 2004.
Survivors include his son, Jeff Lauder and his wife Janet of Greenwich; his daughter, Joanne Wallace and her husband Dan of Hague; 2 grandchildren, Phyllis Lauder of Greenwich and Phillip Lauder and his friend Bonnie Underwood of Argyle; 6 great-grandchildren, Sarah Lauder and Emily Gille of Greenwich, Tiarra Lynn Couture, Jordan Brayman, Carter Underwood and Austin Brayman of Argyle; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held today, Friday, July 25, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich with Rev. Eileen Deming officiating.
Friends gathered on Thursday, July 24 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Greenwich Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorials can be made to Hospice of Washington County. The family would like to thank Hospice of Washington County and a special thanks to Michelle.
