Academy for Lifelong Learning Gift Certificates
Searching for new, unusual, and lasting gift idea? Gifts certificates for the Academy for Lifelong Learning (A.L.L.) at Saratoga Springs are hot off the presses, just in time for any upcoming gift-giving occasion.
Available in any denomination, they are a great way to introduce friends and relatives to this nonprofit membership organization, which is sponsored by Empire State College and offers non-credit academic study groups for older learners. Our upcoming fall term begins September 15.

Saratoga County Executive Institute program accepting
registration
The Chamber of Southern Saratoga County is now accepting registrations for the Saratoga County Executive Institute Program which provides executives and senior management leaders (and their spouses if desired) a unique and up-close look at some of the treasures of Saratoga County and Tech Valley. Beginning on September 10 and continuing through December 11, each of the nine sessions of The Saratoga County Executive Institute will provide participants with a unique opportunity to build relationships with other key business, civic and cultural leaders in addition to exposing them to some of the area's finest companies, institutions and hallmarks of tourism.
Each session of the "Institute" program will include a fantastic meal and feature prominent business, political and community leaders from throughout the Capital Region. In nine informative sessions, participants will quickly learn about the area and build relationships with people at the forefront of progress in our region.
Session locations to include The Times Union, Saratoga Gaming & Raceway, NYS Capitol (pending confirmation - pc), Prestige Services, Albany International Airport (pc) NYS Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), Seton Health (St. Mary's Hospital), Momentive Performance Materials (pc), wrapping up at the new Hyatt Place in Malta.
The 2008 Saratoga County Executive Institute class will be limited to 20 individuals.

Saratoga Lions Club seeks exhibitors for annual health fair
The 2nd Annual Alfred Z. Solomon Saratoga Springs Lions Health Fair, organized by the Saratoga Springs Lions Club is actively seeking exhibitors for the Nov. 1, 2008 event. The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be held at Maple Avenue Middle School in Saratoga Springs. The goal of the fair is to provide members of the Saratoga community with health screenings and information.
Opportunities for health-related exhibitors include booth space to promote goods or services or leading a seminar on a health related topic. Over 150 area residents attended the fair in its first year.
