Creative Photo and Graphic, LLC has opened its doors at 418 Geyser Rd. in the Country Club Plaza.
“Due to growing demand, innovation in technology and the need for studio space, I was inspired to create Creative Photo and Graphic,” Bolles said. “To better serve my customers I am offering a new variety of services.”
The studio offers family portraits, commercial photography for advertisements and local businesses, photography for publication, and art copy and reproduction for artistic paintings.
Bolles owned Creative Photography by Mark Bolles and worked out of a home office since 2000 before expanding his business.
“It seemed to come in the natural process of things,” he said about moving to a larger studio and expanding his customer base. “To me it seemed like the obvious move.”
It was not always Bolles’ plan to become a photographer and open his own studio. A native of New Jersey, Bolles attended a vocational program for culinary arts during high school and thought about going into commercial cooking. During his senior year of high school in 1986, he took a photography elective class and realized his passion for the art. More than 20 years later, Bolles has taken a hobby and turned it into a career.
“It hooked me in high school, and I’m really glad I learned it because it has carried me through this far,” he said.
Along with his own professional expertise, Bolles has incorporated local talent to meet a variety of artistic needs for the studio. Working alongside Bolles is Darrell Hoerauf of Galway who brings many years of experience, Mark Morand of Clifton Park who specializes in sports and studio photography and Sharon Castro from Saratoga Springs and Wellington, Fl and specializes in equine photography.
Bolles is also the head photographer of the Saratoga TODAY newspaper.
Bolles will be holding an open house for Creative Photo and Graphic on Friday, Oct. 3 from 4 to 8 p.m.
