Marlene A. Oliver

Saratoga Springs – Marlene A. Oliver of Pyramid Pines passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008 at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by her family. She was 59.

Born on Sept. 16, 1949 in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of Charlotte (Carleton) Reome and the late Halsey Reome, Sr. A lifelong resident of Saratoga Springs, in addition to her father, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles J. Oliver, Sr., and two brothers, Gregory and Christopher Reome.

In addition to her mother of Saratoga Springs, she is survived by two children, Charles J. Oliver, Jr. and his wife, Rhonda, of Oceanside, CA and Kelley Bayer of Saratoga Springs; three grandchildren, Michael Christopher Oliver, Samuel George Oliver and Karli Madison Bayer; her companion of 15 years, William Hayes; her brothers and sisters, Halsey Reome, Jr., John Reome, Lillian Johnson, Deborah Woodcock, Della Deveneau and Linda Harsha; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends gathered on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes in Saratoga Springs.

Funeral services will be conducted this morning, Friday, Nov. 7, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home by the Rev. Neil Draves-Arpaia.

Burial will follow in Greenridge Cemetery, Lincoln Avenue in Saratoga Springs.
