James P. Bowie, 61, of 292 Pondersosa Pines, Hadley, was sentenced to five days in Saratoga County Jail and five years probation after pleading guilty to a charge of driving while intoxicated.
Charles Benson, 47, homeless, was arrested and charged with failure to pay court fines. He was previously charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. He will appear at Saratoga Springs City Court at a later date to answer to the charges.
Brenda L. Florian, 24, of 15 E2 Vanderbilt Terrace, was arrested and charged with issuing a bad check, a class B misdemeanor. She allegedly issued a check for $1,528.51 to Monroe Muffler at 98 South Broadway in May. She will appear at Saratoga Springs City Court at a later date to answer to the charge.
Nicholas Santiago, 25, of 480 Grand Ave., Saratoga Springs, was arrested and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a class-A misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, following a traffic stop. He will appear at Saratoga Springs City Court at a later date to answer to the charges.
Saffire Askew, 24, of 228 Paisley Rd., Milton, was arrested and charged with aggravated harassment, a class-A misdemeanor, following an altercation on Dec. 22. She will appear at Milton Town Court at a later date to answer to the charge.
William F. Murdack, 39, of 37 Northway Court, Saratoga Springs, was arrested on a warrant and was charged with criminal contempt and second-degree harassment, both class-A misdemeanors. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Dec. 10. He will appear at Saratoga Springs City Court at a later date.
Andrew J. Brothers, 43, of 4971 State Route 50, Northumberland, pled to two charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs after being arrested on April 21 and Sept. 5.He will return to court for sentencing on Jan. 29.
Timothy F. Stephenson, 27, of 7 Halfmoon Dr., Halfmoon, was sentenced to 10 years probation after pleading guilty to a charge of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child. He was arrested on Apr. 29 in Halfmoon.
Michael S. McCleary, 21, of 506 Sandhill Rd., Greenfield, was sentenced to six months in Saratoga County Jail and 10 years probation after pleading to two charges of second-degree criminal sexual act. He was arrested on May 22 in Saratoga Springs.
Joshua E. Welden, 25, of 41 North High St., Ballston Spa, was sentenced to five years probation after pleading guilty to a charge of felony driving while intoxicated. He was arrested on Aug. 5 in Ballston Spa.
Robert C. VanVranken, 40, homeless, was sentenced to one to three years in state prison after pleading guilty to the charges of felony driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was arrested on May 2 in Stillwater.
Barry J. Gronczniak, 42, of 586 Route 9P, Stillwater, was sentenced to five years probation after pleading guilty to a charge of driving while intoxicated. He was arrested on July 28 in Stillwater.
Stephen J. Cherniske, 38, of 15 Snowberry Rd., Malta, was sentenced to five days in jail and five years probation after pleading guilty to a charge of felony driving while intoxicated. He was arrested on May 3 in Saratoga Springs.
Alejandro Jimenez, 25, of 100 Peck Lane, Schuylerville, pled guilty to a charge of third-degree rape, a class-E felony. He was arrested on March 18 in Northumberland. He will return to court for sentencing on Jan 15.
Larry L. Allen of 477 Angel Rd., Corinth, pled guilty to the charges of first-degree sexual abuse, second-degree sexual abuse and third-degree sexual abuse. He was arrested on Dec. 20, 2007 in Corinth. He will return to court for sentencing on Jan. 21.
Justin J. Sherman, 24, of 40 Allen Dr., Saratoga Springs, pled guilty to a charge of third degree rape after being arrested on June 18 in Saratoga Springs. He will return to court on Jan. 21 for sentencing.
Jennifer G. Wormsley, 40, of 276 Dimmick Rd., Gansevoort, was resentenced to one to three years in state prison and probation terminated after originally being sentenced to five days in jail and five years probation. She was arrested on Nov. 19 for felony driving while intoxicated.
Kevin G. Hines, 28, of 1504 South Parkwood Dr., Clifton Park, was resentenced to one to three years in state prison and probation terminated after originally being sentenced to five days in jail and five years probation. He was arrested on Nov. 19 and charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Michael Ellsworth, 24, of 2 Ushers Rd., Mechanicville, was resentenced to one to four years in state prison and probation terminated after originally being sentenced to five years probation. He was arrested on Nov. 19 and charged with third-degree robbery.
