“I wanted to find a cause that’s accessible to the community,” Isaacson said, “and cost is a real issue.”
With that in mind, a minimum donation of only $25 is asked, and qualifies the donor for a tax exempt form.
Wine is being donated from Cork and Cast, as well as Southern Wine and Spirits for the event, which will offer an array of wines for people to sample, as well as appetizers and finger foods.
The event, called Hope Uncorked, will be the first in what Isaacson hopes will be a continuing effort at the Premier’s office to reach out to the community. As for Fertile Hope, Isaacson said that she, “would love to do this on a yearly basis, so I could get more of a following.”

“I want to make this a bigger deal,” said Isaacson. “As a younger person in the community, it serves as a good model for others to get involved.”
