When police were called, Savage fled from the scene. When he was caught, he was transported to Saratoga County Jail. He will remain in jail until he is transported to the New York State Division of Parole.

Erin J. Haegele, 21 of 92 C Hilltop Manor, Clifton Park, was arrested and charged with petit larceny after she was caught shoplifting at Hannaford Supermarket in Clifton Park. She will appear at Clifton Park Town Court at a later date.

Samantha M. Annas, 19, of 16 Burning Pines Dr., Ballston Spa, was arrested on Jan. 19 and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief on an active warrant. She was also charged with petit larceny after being caught shoplifting from Hannaford Supermarket in the Town of Milton. She was remanded to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $250 cash or $500 bond. She will appear at Milton Town Court at a later date to answer to the charges.

Holly A. Steepe, 35, of East Line Rd., Ballston Spa, was arrested on Jan. 26 and charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony, after an investigation by the Sheriff's Department and the New York State Department of Labor. Steepe allegedly received $4,164 in unemployment benefits during the 2007 calendar year when she was in fact working. She was processed and released and will appear at Malta Town Court at a later date to answer to the charges.

Kristen L. Sunkes, 34, of Brentwood Motel, Room 9, Saratoga Springs, was arrested on Jan. 24 and charged with aggravated harassment after she allegedly made numerous phone calls to the complainant for no apparent reason. She will appear at Milton Town Court at a later date to answer to the charge.

James J. Etu, 28, of 44 Lamplighter Acres, Fort Edward, was arrested on Jan. 18 and charged with second-degree aggravated harassment following an incident at 36 A Feeder Dam Rd., Moreau. He will appear at Moreau Town Court at a later date to answer to the charges.

Cassandra L. Lynch, 21, of 3901 Lewis Rd., Lot 219, Ballston Spa, was arrested on Jan. 23 and charged with second-degree harassment and second degree criminal contempt following a domestic incident in Northern Pines Mobile Home Park. She allegedly slapped a third party across the face and violated an order of protection in doing so. She will appear at Milton Town Court at a later date to answer to the charges.

Joseph J. Valigorsky, 36, of 638 Sand Hill Rd., Greenfield, was arrested on an active warrant and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and third-degree unlawful possession of marijuana following and incident that took place on Jan. 16. He allegedly broke property belonging to another and then pushed and spit at the person. He was sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail and will appear at the Greenfield Town Court at a later date to answer to the charges.

Hector Sanchez Rios, 29, of 9700 SW Kanner Hwy., Indiantown, FL, was sentenced to one year in state prison and one year of post release supervision after he pleaded guilty to a charge of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested on Aug. 16 in Saratoga Springs.

John D. Baumgartner, 36, of 228 Paisley Rd., Lot 10, Ballston Spa, was sentenced to one and a half years in state prison and two years of post release supervision for a charge of fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and sentenced to six months in Saratoga County Jail for a charge of driving while ability impaired by alcohol or drugs. He was arrested on May 10 in the Town of Milton.
