Born on Dec. 28, 1938 in Derby, CT., she was the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Florence Harvey Hannon. Eileen grew up in Connecticut and worked as a nurse for over 40 years at Ronealli Health Care Center in New Haven. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Thomas H. Hannon.
Survivors include her nieces, Maureen Scala and her husband Andrew of Bow, NH, Mary Dean of Pittstown, NY, Meg Falco and her husband Robert of Ballston Spa,; her nephews, Michael Hannon of Hamden, CT, Martin Hannon of Florida, Mark Hannon and his wife Maria of Scotia, NY; her sister-in-law Barbara Hannon of Saratoga Springs; several great nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, TomTom.
Relatives and friends gathered on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes in Saratoga Springs; a funeral service followed at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the family plot on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009 at Mt. St. Peter's Cemetery, Derby, CT.
