Police blotter - 3/20

Anthony D. Medaglia, 36, of 182 DR Mobile Home Park, Halfmoon, was sentenced to five years probation after he pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was arrested on June 17 in Halfmoon.


Patrick P. Nadeau, 45, of 906 County Route 77, Greenwich, was sentenced to time served and five years probation after pleading guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. He was arrested on July 31 in Moreau.

Andrew Lee, 19, of 8 Second St., Hudson Falls, was sentenced to six months in Saratoga County Jail and five years probation after he pleaded guilty to a charge of third-degree burglary. He was arrested on July 31 for an incident that occurred on July 26 in Moreau.

Kevin D. Germain, 50, of 257 Clinton St., Saratoga Springs, was sentenced to nine months in Saratoga County Jail after he pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was arrested on May 10 in Greenfield.

Gary R. Mackenzie, 44, of 261 Old Saratoga Rd., Gansevoort, was sentenced to one year in Saratoga County Jail after he pleaded to a charge of fifth-degree attempted possession of a controlled substance, a class E felony. He was arrested on July 4 in Saratoga Springs.
He was also sentenced to one year in Saratoga County Jail after he pleaded guilty to a charge of third-degree burglary. He was arrested on April 21 for an incident that occurred on Nov. 24, 2007.

Dean J. Merola, 42, of 23 C Cass Court, Ballston Lake, pleaded guilty to a charge of third-degree criminal mischief, a class E felony, after being arrested on Aug. 3 in Malta. He will return to court for sentencing on May 14.

Rick C. Sweet, 21, of 14 Spier Falls Rd., Greenfield, pleaded guilty to a charge of fourth-degree attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance after being arrested on Dec. 6. He will return to court for sentencing on May 11.
He also pleaded guilty to a charge of third-degree burglary after being arrested on Dec. 6 also. He will be sentenced on May 11.

Ricardo A. Medina, 29, of 60 Saratoga Ave., 2nd floor, Waterford, pleaded guilty to a charge of fifth-degree attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance after being arrested on Feb. 20 in Waterford. He will return to court for sentencing on May 11.

John P. Apparius, 41, of 303 Forest Hill Lane, Clifton Park, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs after being arrested on Oct. 24. He will return to court for sentencing on May 14.

Andre L. Ovitt, 40, of 127 Swamp Rd., Argyle, pleaded guilty to the following charges: operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He was arrested on Sept. 5 in Corinth and will return to court for sentencing on May 11.

Steven H. Eddy, 46, of 14 Poplar St., Corinth, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs after being arrested on Sept. 23. He will return to court for sentencing on May 11.

Joseph M. Slingerland, 26, of 21 Harrison Ave., South Glens Falls, pleaded guilty to a charge of failure to report an address change within 10 days. He was arrested on Jan. 8 for incidents that occurred between Nov. 22 and Dec. 15. He will return to court for sentencing on May 11.

Gloria Woodbeck, 41, of Lot 22 Daniels Corners Trailer Park, Saratoga Springs, pleaded guilty to a charge of fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance after she was arrested on Jan. 20. She will return to court for sentencing on July 10.
