Police officer splashed with LSD during arrest

Shortly after Buchas was placed under arrest by several officers at the scene, the investigator who had the LSD sprayed onto his hands began to feel the effects of the drug. He felt ill and was taken to the Saratoga ER where he spent the next few hours recovering from the effects of the drug.
Buchas was arrested for Obstructing Governmental Administration, Resisting Arrest, Assault in the Second Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degreeand Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree. Allman Brothers Visit SPAC
On Tuesday, August 18th, the Saratoga Performing Arts Center welcomed The Allman Brothers Band, which was starting off their late summer leg on their 40th Anniversary Tour.
This was the Allman Brothers first show since early June, and while they may have appeared slightly rusty, the large weeknight crowd was responsive and appreciative.
Part of the reason for the revved up crowd was the opening set by the Doobie Brothers, who were joining ABB only for this show and one other the following night in New Jersey.
While the Allman Brothers' set list included a song called "Ain't wasting time no more", it was the Doobie Brothers, most often headliners in their own right, who did not waste anyone's time during their 1 hour opening set.
Reeling off hit after hit, they appeared grateful and truly enthused to share the stage. Indeed the most impressive part of the ABB set later in the evening was when Doobie band members Mark Russo and Tommy Johnston were invited to join in on "Southbound". Taking turns soloing with Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes seemed to elevate everyone's game. The torrential rains that began towards the end of the Doobie Brothers set did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm of the lawn crowd. They wanted to be there, and it showed.
Perez Pleads Not Guilty
After allegedly kidnapping a Saratoga woman last month, Victor V. Hernandez Perez, 23 was charged with 15 crimes, all of which he pleaded not guilty to on August 19. He is charged with kidnapping in the second degree, robbery in the first degree, and forging immigration documents.
Perez allegedly drove up behind a 24-year-old woman, hit her in the head with a gun and brought her to his van where he allegedly forced her to undress at gunpoint.
Perez, a native Salvadorian, is suspected to be in the country illegally. Police are not sure if he is who he claims to be, and will not know until his finger prints have been run through the database.
After the arraignment, Perez was brought back to the Saratoga County Jail.
