Coming off the green with a 16-1 winning streak, Saratoga Central
Catholic's golf team is confident this season will be a hole in one.
The team was busy preparing for sectionals, October 7, at Schenectady Muni. Warming up at the putting green some of the team members find it relaxing to listen to some tunes before the match. It allows them to focus their attitudes and become mentally ready.
When asked if the team was nervous going into sectionals, Brad Scammell replied, "No, not at all. I am trying not to think about it.
After sectionals, Spencer Sautin walked away with an 80 and qualified for Regionals. Billy McDonough, Brad Scammell and Casey Cohan did extremely well but unfortunately did not qualify.
The team is looking forward to their match against Stillwater and Voorheesville. They plan to put up the most challenge this season. The golf team will be ready no matter what is swung their way. Go Saints!
