It's almost time for spring cleaning, which means putting your snow
blower in storage and digging your lawnmower out from the back of the
garage. But before you retire or revive your lawn equipment for the
season, it's wise to have them serviced and conditioned.
Adirondack Equipment Repair, located right in Saratoga Springs, will service and repair any small engine or lawn equipment. The company has been servicing small engines for the past eight years with a small, yet dedicated team of four trained mechanics.
According to Jerry Patterson, company owner, most people bring in their lawn equipment for general servicing, oil change, blade sharpening and tune-ups at the beginning and end of the season.
Small engines perform better with seasonal maintenance and repairs, just like cars, which is why Patterson recommends servicing any type of equipment before its first use, especially if it's been sitting idly for a long period of time.
"Most people bring their lawn mower to us in the spring to have it ready before the summer," Patterson said.
If you get a basic tune-up and Adirondack Equipment Repair identifies a problem, they will call you with an estimate, and fix it right on the spot.
Aside from general maintenance, Adirondack Equipment Repair can also fix and service anything from chainsaws to pressure washers; all types of lawn equipment, including generators, chain saws, pressure washers, snow blowers -you name it, they will service it.
"We basically service anything with a small engine, and we also warranty a lot of the major brands sold at stores," Patterson said. "We can also work on Ridge and Rioldi hand and power tools like cordless drills."
And with the ability to warranty many of the brands sold at major suppliers, Patterson receives many referrals from stores in the area.
Adirondack Equipment Repair is authorized to warranty equipment manufactured by the following companies: MTD,Troy Bilt, Cub Cadet, Briggs and Stratton, Honda, Kohler, Tecumseh, Murray, Poulan, Home Lite, Robin.
