A lemonade stand for a great cause, a chance to check out Toga Tots, Girl Scouts at Great Escape and Father’s Day fun all on tap for this week!
1. On Tuesday, June 12th head to the 3rd Annual Lemonade Stand To Benefit The Hannah’s Hope Fund from 9:30 to noon at the Little Red Schoolhouse, 344 Moe Road in Clifton Park. There will be a concert by local performer Diana Payette (also known as Grama Tippy-Toes) and the students from the nursery school (ages 2-4) will be selling lemonade and baked goods at the nursery school. The school is donating 100% of the proceeds that they make to the Hannah’s Hope Fund. It’s a great opportunity to see children sharing and caring for other children as well as a great way to help support a great cause!
2. Want to check out local playgroup Toga Tots? Check out Mall Play time with Toga Tots on Thursday, June 14th from 10-11am at the Wilton Mall Play Area by JC Penney. Join Toga Tots at the Mall Play Area for a little time out of the house. The horse-themed area in front of JC Penney is full of soft structures and bench seating for moms. Good thing, because they like to talk! It is great for crawlers up through toddlers. And if you have littler ones in the carrier, you can always join in for mom time! Over 150 volunteers will be on hand to answer your questions and show you just what goes on from day to day on the farm. Then stick around for food demos by local chefs using local products, farmers’ market, horse drawn wagon rides, live music, spelling bee, Stewart’s Ice Cream Eating Contest, children’s activities and more!
