This week is the SCHOOL’S OUT EDITION! I know my little ones are counting down the days, here are some great ways to celebrate the real start of summer for kids! Start if off at Circus Cafe, then check out a Strawberry & Ice Cream festival, a community garden where they can get their hands dirty, a mini golf tournament and top it off with a school’s out celebration tea party style!
1. Join them at Circus Cafe on Wednesday, June 20th to celebrate the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL with Regal Cinemas for the “Stars of Hope” Fundraiser! Circus Cafe will be donating a percentage of sales from the entire day to the “Stars of Hope”. 2. Also on Wednesday, June 20th check out the Annual Strawberry & Ice Cream Festival at Rexford Fire Station, 1601 Route 146, Rexford from 4-8pm. Join them for the Rexford Auxiliary Annual Strawberry & Ice Cream Festival. Enjoy Vanilla Ice Cream topped with Strawberries and Sauce. Add a bisquit and make it a Shortcake. Plus Whipped Cream and Chocolate Sauce makes it a Strawberry Sundae. Receive a Beverage and a Cupcake too. While you enjoy your treat, peruse their Book Sale as well. 3. Gardening Workshop at The Children’s Museum at Saratoga On Thursday, June 21st at 3pm. Come play and learn in their community garden. Plant seeds, water the flowers, and make signs to help identify fruits and vegetables! This program is free with admission. Come dressed to get dirty!
4. Have some mini golfers in the family? Check out the Saratoga Parrot Head Festival: Pirates and Families Mini Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 23rd starting at 10am. See if you can win the Pirates and Families Mini Golf Tournament at Mill Creek Mini Golf. 5. Also on Saturday is the ”School Is Out Party” at Abigail’s Tea & Tiara’s! Sometimes a girl just has to let her hair down. After a long year at school, this is the right occasion to do it! At this tea party kids will enjoy full appetizers, main meals, and even make your own Ices Cream Sundaes. Then the fun will begin: game time… kids will play several types of games and they are all kid favorites, and will also make a craft.
