Located right in downtown Saratoga, the Saratoga Senior Center is a non-residential community center offering a variety of activities and services to older adults in Saratoga County. While some of these are designed specifically for senior citizens, you’ll find that many of their upcoming events are family-friendly and open to the public.

From May into July, there’s a lot to look forward to at the Saratoga Senior Center. The community center has a wide range of events on their calendar, including the following and more.
Murder Mystery Dinner Theater
On Thursday, May 9, at 5:30pm, the Saratoga Senior Center will host an exciting Murder Mystery Dinner Theater. Presented by The Adirondack Flatline Players and sponsored by Home of the Good Shepherd, Thursday’s murder mystery is called “Loser by a Neck: The Green Scarf Brigade Murders.” Tickets are $22 each and include dinner. The public is welcome to sign up at the front desk.
Fridays at the Center
Fridays are fun days at the Saratoga Senior Center, especially throughout the month of May. Here are the Friday activities you should check out:

Monthly Breakfast & Learn
On Tuesday, May 14, at 8:30am, Lynn & Joseph Golonka will share an insider’s view of the hospital system during the Senior Center’s Monthly Breakfast & Learn. The cost to attend the presentation is free, and breakfast is only $3.
Monthly Chef Dinner
Love good food? Sign up for the Monthly Chef Dinner at the Saratoga Senior Center on Tuesday, May 21. This month’s dinner will feature Longfellows Restaurant’s Chef Ed Kelley’s famous baked cod. Live music with a DJ will run from 4:30pm-5:30pm. The cost to sign up is $10 per person (members only event).
“Take 5” Tuesday To Go Dinners
If you’re looking for a quick and easy meal, then take advantage of the Senior Center’s “Take 5” Tuesday To Go Dinners. These special meals are provided by Saratoga 5 Points Deli, and the cost is $9.50 per dinner. A portion of every dinner sold benefits the Center, and May’s meals will include:
- May 14 – Roast Turkey w/Homemade Mashed Potatoes & Stuffing w/Gravy & Cranberry Sauce
- May 21 – Roast Pork, Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Green Beans
- May 28 – Manicotti stuffed with Spinach, Roasted Red Peppers, Sweet Sausage and Garlic Bread

Lunchtime Concert Series
From June 4 – July 9, you can enjoy the Senior Center’s weekly Lunchtime Concert Series in Saratoga Springs. These concerts are free and open to the public and will take place on Tuesdays at noon.

Health & Wellness Fair
Join the Senior Center on Thursday, June 6, from 9:00am-12:30pm for their free Health & Wellness Fair. Attendees will have the chance to meet with over 30 specialists and healthcare professionals in one convenient location. There will be interactive events, presentations, and more.
Enjoy a Memorable Trip With the Senior Center
In addition to their community events, the Saratoga Senior Center provides van, bus, and overnight excursion trips to places both near and far.
