Each shop and studio sets their own hours, and the building is open to the public 8am to 5pm daily. Attend the Food Truck Corral & More Special Events

The Shirt Factory hosts a number of events throughout the year, but is perhaps most popular for the Thursday Market & Food Truck Corral that takes place weekly from May through September. The expansive property allows plenty of space for food trucks, picnic tables and seating areas, vendors, farmers, and kids activities. Also check out: the Winter Meltdown Spicy Food Festival; Spring is Sweet, April Maple; Apple Versus Pumpkin Fall Throwdown; and Holiday Open Houses.

Get a Glimpse Into Glens Falls History

When you wander the halls of The Shirt Factory, you'll see signage, posters, and items like old sewing machines that pay homage to the building's rich history of shirt- and dress-making that dates back to the late 1890s. In 1902, a fire devastated the building, and the factory was reborn as the McMullen-Leavens Shirt Factory. The Shirt Factory as we know it today was purchased by the current owner in 1999, and has grown from about 20 tenants to nearly 100.
