SARATOGA SPRINGS – A great tasting event for a great cause! Add it up and you get the Sixth Annual Corks, Forks + Brews event to benefit The Saratoga Center For The Family (SCFF) – held this year at the Saratoga Springs City Center on Friday, November 2. Attendees were treated to samples of beer, wine, and spirits as well as delicious + savory bites, all while enjoying live music from Morrighan’s Flight.

An impressive lineup to say the least, particularly when paired with generous raffle donors and sponsors – all in support of SCFF, whose mission is “…to strengthen children, families, and our community by reducing the effects of abuse, trauma, and family dysfunction through advocacy, education and mental health therapy.” Visit their WEBSITE for more details about their programs and services.
While the night was festive, the need for SCFF’s services are always present. A welcoming message from SCFF Executive Director Rebecca Baldwin noted: “This past year our clinical staff has provided over 6,000 counseling sessions to over 400 children and families at the Center, in addition to over 950 sessions in our school-based locations…. Our Harriet M. West Child Advocacy Center has coordinated 231 forensic interviews and 54 forensic medical exams for children who were alleged victims of abuse.”
A toast to their continued success – let’s pop those corks, and enjoy the gallery!
